Register to Compete - Highland Dance
Registration for the Primary, Beginner, and Novice dancers will open at 8:30 AM on Saturday, with the competition beginning at 9:00 AM. For the Intermediate and Premier dancers, registration will begin at 10:30 AM, with their competition starting at 11:00 AM. All dancers will perform on stage in the auditorium, showcasing their skill and passion for traditional Scottish dance.
Be sure to register early for your group and get ready for a day filled with energy and excitement!

Competition Rules:
– RSOBHD rules will apply. Decision of the Judge is final.
– Please! Remember to bring your 2025 Original RSOBHD Dance Card !
– Pre-Premier age groups, and Premier age groups will be determined by entries.
– Medals will be awarded for the first four places, trophy for overall winner in each group, except Primary.
– Prize money for oldest Premier group will be awarded to overall winners as follows: 1st-$125 2nd- $100 3rd- $75 4th- $50, and Trophy for First Place.
– Trophy for Most Promising from first group (Primary, Beginner or Novice).
– All dance competitors, teachers and parents are expected to comply with the “ScotDance USA Code of Ethics.”
– “Three-Month Rule – Judges may not adjudicate any competitor that they have instructed for a period of three months. If a competitor has entered a competition with a judge they have attended a class or workshop within the last three months, the dancer must step down from the competition.”
Our online registration is hosted by Zeffy, which is a platform for nonprofits that doesn’t charge additional processing fees. At checkout, they add a suggested donation to their platform to cover the cost of voiding those fees. You can set this to any amount, including 0. It is not necessary, but we ask that you consider a small donation (even if just 1$) to support their work. Thank you!
