Lezlie Webster – Instructor & Adjudicator

Lezlie Webster is a highly respected EUSPBA Adjudicator, professional piper, and dedicated instructor with over 40 years of experience. A graduate of the Institute of Piping, she has played in several successful Grade 2 pipe bands and founded successful groups such as the Boston Police Pipe Band, Gaelic Fire Brigade Pipe Band, and St. Andrews Ladies Pipe Band. Lezlie was the first female piping judge certified with the EUSPBA (Eastern United States Pipe Band Association), and has won or medaled in many of the top prestigious piping competitions across the globe throughout her career. Lezlie has a proven track record of developing pipers from beginners to advanced competitors, with many of her students achieving top rankings in solo and band competitions.

In addition to teaching private students, Lezlie serves as an adjunct faculty member at Phillips Exeter, Phillips Andover, Groton, and St. Paul’s Schools where she teaches bagpipes for course credits. She also currently works with bands such as the NH Police Pipes and Drums and NH Pipes and Drums. She regularly judges piping competitions across the U.S. and is a sought-after scholar of Piobaireachd, known as the ‘classical music’ of the bagpipes.

Known for her innovative teaching methods, Lezlie uses a unique system of letters and color-coded patterns to help beginners quickly grasp tunes without the need to learn how to read music, while providing advanced students with expert coaching in technique, musicality, and competition preparation. Her passion for piping and commitment to excellence make her one of the most sought-after instructors in the region.

Campbell Webster – Professional Bagpiper & Instructor

Campbell Webster, son of Lezlie & Gordon Webster, is a prizewinning professional piper, sought-after performer, and experienced instructor. He is currently working full-time as the bagpiper for the world-renowned Dropkick Murphys and has toured internationally with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers since 2016. As a competitor, Campbell has placed in the top six at the North American Gold Medal competition and has performed at the highest levels of solo and pipe band competition.

He has competed multiple times in the Grade 1 finals of the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow with the Stuart Highlanders, as well as in Grade 2 with the Worcester Kiltie Pipe Band in 2019. His performances have taken him across the United States, Canada, and Europe, including appearances in military tattoos in Switzerland and at Edinburgh Castle. One of the highlights of his career was having the honor of playing for and meeting Queen Elizabeth II, where he had the opportunity to speak briefly with Her Majesty.

Campbell is also the Pipe Major of the NH Pipes and Drums, an accomplished professional drum major, and a Grade 2 snare drummer. As an instructor, Campbell has years of experience teaching students of all levels. While his busy performance schedule keeps him traveling, he continues to share his expertise when home, helping students refine their technique, musicianship, and competition skills.
