September came but summer heat was full on at the Capital District Scottish Games in Altamont, NY. This was the last Highland dance competition for our student Sveta Gerace as a Beginner as she placed first in all dances and now progresses into the Novice category. Congratulations to her and we'll see you all at the upcoming Loon Games!
Another great day for our group of dancers, pipers and drummers at the 2015 Quechee Scottish Festival. Our dancers did well with Sveta taking home the trophy and Anna and Alyson winning several medals of their own. We also had Benjamin Grade 4 Jr Piper of the day, Greg who won Grade 3 piper of the Day and Eryk who won Grade 1 Piper of the Day. Eryk also achieved 2 AGLs! We all had a great time together and hope to see everyone at Loon Games. For those who are heading to Albany for the Capital Games, we'll see you there!
So it never helps that we keep some of our posts "on draft" and forget to publish them, but late is better than never. Here are some of our photos from the event!
